Get ready to showcase your creativity, skill, and flair for cake decorating in our upcoming Cake Contest! Whether you're a seasoned pro or an aspiring decorator, we invite you to participate and dazzle us with your cake creations.

How to Enter:

To enter the contest, simply bring your decorated cake creation(s) to May Faire Festival at Spirit of the Lake Community Arts (5401 E Superior St, Duluth 55804) on May 3rd between 4-7pm or May 4th between 8am-10am. Please include your name, contact information, and age if under 18. We appreciate you pre-registering on this form. Enter as many cakes as you'd like - more cakes means more chances to win!

Prizes:

Winners in each category will receive fabulous prizes and, of course, bragging rights as the best cake decorators in town! Cakes will be judged at 11:00am.

Important Details:

  • Cakes will be judged based on creativity, originality, visual appeal in the following categories: Best Use of Color, Best Intricate Details, Best Cupcakes, Most Unique Shape, Best Try, and Junior Division.
  • All entries must be homemade and decorated from scratch.
  • You may enter multiple cakes.
  • By participating in the event, you agree to have your cake displayed and used in cake-walks during the event (use a plate or platter that you do not need returned).
  • Win one of the delicious entries in our Cake-Walks held at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm. A Cake-Walk is like a raffle/musical chairs combo event.

Let the decorating begin!
