Application for Residency
Dear Friend,

Thank you for your interest in Beacon Hill Friends House. Hopefully, the information included on the following pages will answer many of your questions. If what you read sounds like the kind of experience you are looking for, we encourage you to apply for residency.

Residents can live here for up to a maximum of four calendar years. Incoming residents often start out sharing a double room -- singles are then offered as they become available to residents in double rooms according to a seniority ranking system.

It is very helpful to us if you return the completed application as soon as possible. When we have heard from all of your references, we may call to ask you to attend an interview with the Residency Committee, tour the House, and have dinner with the community. If you are unable to attend an interview because you live at a great distance we will arrange a phone interview. The Residency Committee reviews applications and makes final admissions decisions. Thank you again for your interest.

In Peace,
Jennifer Newman
Executive Director, Beacon Hill Friends House
