Did you know that with every minute, the number of forests cut down around the world is equal to 20 football fields? Trees clean the air, remove carbon from the atmosphere, regulate temperatures, and provide shade and food for birds and insects. And they are beautiful - imagine a city, or a world, without trees!

Heating and Cooling our homes are the most energy intensive things we do. Wearing seasonable clothes and keeping the temperature in my room or house two degrees lower in the winter and 2 degrees higher in the summer will save up to 15% on heating bills!

Vehicles account for nearly 75% of carbon monoxide air pollution in the U.S. On top of that, cars are expensive and aren’t being used most of the time, taking up a lot of space. Getting around on foot or bike is better for the air and our health. Sharing rides or taking the bus is cheaper than having a car.
