Thank you for your interest in joining the HYP Austin Steering Committee! As you might know, HYP is an entirely volunteer-run organization. We all come from different parts of the community -- our team includes direct-service professionals, program coordinators and managers, social workers, trainers, and parents. We all bring something a little different to this work, but we're unified by our desire to ensure youth in our community are being served by professionals who are well-trained and well-supported so they're able to do their best work.

Our Steering Committee members serve 2-year terms and are responsible for making it all happen. It is time for some Steering Committee members to cycle out and for new members to join. We welcome new leaders with new ideas, including ideas about how to reimagine HYP's role in the community.

We especially welcome folks of diverse backgrounds to apply and those who have a strong interest in advancing social and racial justice.
