Implicit Bias Education Registration
Implicit Bias Education empowers participants to be more knowledgeable about subtle biases that influence our thoughts and actions, often without conscious awareness. This program offers participants an opportunity to explore how unconscious biases shape our perceptions and actions, discuss microaggressions and how they impact diverse communities, and explore tools and resources for serving as an ally and multicultural educator. Implicit Bias Education is hosted and facilitated by UNC Pembroke's Office of Student Inclusion and Diversity.

This semester, the following sessions will be offered:

Implicit Bias Education for Faculty and Staff
  • February 9 from 9-11 a.m.
  • March 13 from 2-4 p.m.
Implicit Bias Education for Students
  • February 29 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
  • March 14 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
