Join herbalist, artist and traditional medicine keeper, Angela Angel for a workshop focusing on deepening our work with Philippine Ancestral Medicine. We will work with herbs that are locally available to us. We will use traditional Filipino folk methods and western techniques to work with each plant. Class time will include Herbalism 101, hands-on experience on learning how to make different herbal medicines as well as ritual-based traditional healing techniques. Each participant will go home with their own herbal medicine goodies made in class.
