For over 20 years The Irish Outreach Center (IOC) has assisted thousands of J-1 summer students to navigate a new city, comply with visa regulations, start a new job & find accommodation to enable the best J-1 experience.  This has in-part been made possible by the Emigrant Support Program grant, which has been generously provided to our organization by the Irish Government.  

If you  plan to travel in a group/with friends, we ask that each person (that plans to travel to San Diego summer 2024) completes this J-1 summer 2024 intake-form.   Please ensure that the email address you provide is correct & current.  

Our J-1 2024 information packet (with arrival updates & departure check-list) will be sent to the email address that you provide in January 2024.   Additionally upon your arrival, we strongly recommend that you take the time to attend one of our J-1 Orientations (including Social Security, banking & mobile phone set-up and other valuable information about fun summer activities).
