Thank you for your interest to apply to speak or perform at our TEDxStGeorge, March 20, 2024 at the Indoor Hafen Theater at Tuacahn. December 22, 2023 is the deadline to submit this application.

Please read carefully: This application is for those who live/work in the following areas apply if you live/work in St.George, Ivins, Washington County, Santa Clara.

*You are welcome to apply if you do not live in these areas but we will be looking at the applications from the area first. (Unfortunately, we will not be able to respond to your application if you do NOT LIVE in the area).

Speakers applications will only be considered if you submit a 3-6 minute audition video of the first draft of your talk (you can read your talk, no need to memorize...yet) We know that this is a draft but it does need to be a talk. If chosen then we will help you perfect your talk with our speaker coaching team. **All speakers will have 3-8 minutes for their final talks. We will give you the time once selected. Please mark all videos "Unlisted".

We are going to have an in person call backs the afternoon of January 17. We will inform speakers applicants on January 4 if they are invited to an in-person call back audition.

We will be making decisions quickly as we will begin mid January preparing for TEDxStGeorge.

SUBMIT MINI TEDx TALK VIDEO (Required to be considered) (This is for all speakers)
Please submit a 3-6 minute video of the TEDx talk to be considered. We know this is rough draft and if selected, you will work with one of our speaker coaches to perfect your talk. We want to see you (the speaker) present passionately your idea worth spreading, explain why it matters. Make it interesting:). Pretend that this is the talk that you are giving if chosen.

*Create a video of your 1st draft of your talk. 3-6 minutes in length. This should be close to the talk you would deliver. We will help you perfect your talk but all talks will be short.

*No Slides

*Upload to YouTube and make sure it is "unlisted" and send us the link so we can view it. (*we will not consider unless it is unlisted.)

*Speakers must demonstrate expertise, and where relevant, credentials in your field and provide supporting facts or arguments.

*Speakers and performers may not promote themselves, their company, or a product from the TEDx stage.

*Performers only: If you are a performer then please submit a video link of your performance or something that shows us what you have done.
