You are invited to submit an abstract for presentation at the mfgCON powered by the NC Manufacturing Extension Partnership and Business NC.
Do you have best practices to share with your manufacturing peers? This is your opportunity to share your insights, knowledge and experience with an exclusive audience at the annual mfgCON on April 20-21 at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Submissions from consultants/vendors will be considered only if co-presenting with a manufacturer client. Co-presenters must be noted at the time of submission to be considered. The Technology, Innovation and Strategic Growth track is designed
to share best practices related to new technologies and innovations, market
expansion, distribution and new product development. Suggested topics include marrying methodologies like lean to advanced manufacturing
technology; integrating customer requirements into the design phase or the
growing desire for product personalization; overcoming workforce reluctance to
new technologies; examples of successful implementations and lessons learned;
the CHIPS Act and You; Offshore Windfarms and Electric Vehicles: what you need
to know and what the needs are. Other possible topics include business expansion support, how
the Internet of things (IoT) can help your business, factory automation, the
impact of new manufacturing technology/innovations on business growth, using
data analytics to grow your business, new product development or
diversification, supply chain strategy, how to become a government contractor,
global market expansion, or using social media and other digital strategies to
market your company and grow your business.
