In this workshop you will learn all the steps to launching your business and and be given resources for new business owners. You will leave the sessions with an A-to-Z overview, and specific tools and tips that will help you launch your business.
If you are considering starting a business or in the early stages of launching one, this workshop will outline everything you need to know. In this workshop, you will:
1. The importance of a business plan
2. Develop your business idea and plan
3. Gain an understanding of the process and requirements for starting a business, including;
- Legal structures
- How to choose and register a business name and entity
- Learn the different types of business structures such as LLC, Sole Proprietor, S Corp etc.
- How to obtain an employer identification number, licenses, permits and insurance.
- Determine your financing needs
- Understanding employer responsibilities
- Learn about available resources and training
Amplify POC Workshops are free for BIPOC community members and are funded through grants specifically to support and uplift the BIPOC community on Cape Cod.
