2023 Alternative Spring Break Student Interest Application
Thank you for your interest in Hillel International's Chesapeake Bay Climate Action Empowerment Alternative Spring Break 2023 trip in Baltimore, MD! In partnership with Repair the World and Hazon/Pearlstone, we are please to offer this 5 day, 4 night trip for US campus Hillels to engage in a meaningful domestic alternative break experience for service learning and intentional connections to the Jewish and Hillel community.

Empower and equip yourself as a leader of positive change, as you enjoy the restorative, inspiring Jewish farm and rolling hills of Pearlstone Retreat Center. While centering self-care via organic food, daily morning yoga, and meaningful ritual, you will dive deep into action steps one can take to address food justice, environmental sustainability, and climate change on your own campus. Participants will do service projects in Baltimore City and learn from those most impacted by food insecurity in the Baltimore area.

The cost per student is $475 plus the cost of travel.
