The rent strike has been going since December, with over 140 of us withholding roughly £400,000 from UoL.

We have demonstrated the power we have as a collective, already winning no-penalty contract releases and reduced rent for those who cannot return to halls, but THIS IS JUST THE START!

UoL have made empty threats of interest and evictions, but have followed through with none of them!  We now know that they are too powerless and scared to fight back.

They have resorted to doing nothing, ignoring us in the hope that the strike will die down eventually.

This is the time to grow the strike and show UoL that we will not accept their half-concessions.  
We demand:

1) Annual 40% rent reduction FOR ALL
2) No forced staff redundancies
3) Increased mental health support
4) No repercussions for rent strikers
