Raising Raiders 23-24 PreK Enrollment Form

Nutley Public Schools is pleased to have the opportunity to offer free preschool in our PreK program to selected applicants. This program operates a full-day (6 hours) at select schools within the Nutley township. In order to be eligible for our program, you must reside in Nutley, New Jersey. 

AGE REQUIREMENT: In order to be eligible for a 3-year-old class, your child must be 3-years-old by October 1, 2023.  In order to be eligible for a 4-year-old classroom, your child must be 4-years-old by October 1, 2023.

****Only one application is needed for each student per year. There is no need to complete multiple applications for the same student.****

NOTE: Students who are already enrolled in the PreK DO NOT need to re-apply for the program. Current registered and enrolled students will automatically be enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year, unless parents/guardians choose to dis-enroll their child.  

*****Students on the 2022-2023 waiting list WILL need to engage in application process to be considered for 2023-2024 enrollment.****

Completion of this application DOES NOT automatically guarantee a seat in the PreK program.  If the number of preschool applicants exceed the amount of available PreK seats then a lottery will occur.  More information regarding a lottery and acceptance into the program will be communicated on our website at a later date. 

Provider/School Location Placement

Location for selected students is at the discretion of the district and local providers. Based on the number of available seats in each of our preschool locations we cannot guarantee that the child will be assigned to the school closest to their home.
