Monotüüpia ehk monotrükk on trükitehnika, kus pilt maalitakse plaadile ja sellest trükitakse tõmmis. Iga tõmmis on unikaalne ja sellest tuleneb ka tehnika nimetus. 

Kutsume kunstihuvilisi 19. aprillil toimuvale monotüüpia kursusele, mida juhendab Vitor Pascale. Kursus tutvustab monotüüpiat kui väga mitmekülgset trükitehnikat, millega saab erinevate unikaalsete tulemusteni jõuda. Kursusel kasutame trükkimisel ka illustratsioone vanadest raamatutest, mis TYPA-le on annetatud, andes vanadele lugudele uue elu läbi kunsti.

Kursusel osalemiseks pole vajalik eelnev kogemus. 

Kursus toimub inglise keeles.

Monotype or monoprint is a printing technique where the image is painted onto a plate and then printed from it. Every print is unique, hence the name of the technique. 

On the 19 April TYPA invites all creative minds to a monotype printmaking course. This course will explore monotyping as a very versatile form of printmaking, where you can use different approaches to create unique prints. For this course we will be using covers and illustrations from old books available at TYPA as our resource for the exploration of the technique. We can bring to life our own creative process with some of the stories from the old books.

Any previous experience in printmaking is not needed to participate in this course.

The course will be conducted in English.
