Maryland Green Party Ballot Access Affidavit
Maryland state law requires that "non-principal" political parties such as the Green Party secure their right to appear on the ballot by physically collecting pen-and-paper signatures from 10,000 Maryland voters. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Maryland Green Party has suspended all petitioning activities until it is safe and responsible to resume. We are providing this form to collect non-binding electronic signatures as a measure of our ongoing support from Maryland voters.
By submitted this virtual form to sign this affidavit, you affirm that you support the organization of a political party to be known as the Green Party, and that you would sign the Maryland Green Party's actual, legally-empowered petition form if you were able to do so.
