Omni Workshop: Looking for pioneers expanding the Web3 Landscape
How to Participate:
Topic: How to Innovatively Develop Web3 Based on Web2
Entrepreneurs participating in the workshop are required to present their products or projects through a speech. We highly encourage participation from Internet professionals, and we are committed to supporting the implementation of high-quality projects.
Format: PPT presentation
We welcome a variety of submissions, including but not limited to:
1. Ideas: Share your innovative concepts for bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3. We provide the following two examples to help you better understand the innovative integration of Web2 and Web3.
a. Finance: PayPal vs. Decentralized Finance (DeFi)
PayPal operates as a centralized platform that manages online transactions, controlling funds and fees while requiring users to trust its security measures. In contrast, DeFi platforms like Aave and Uniswap eliminate intermediaries, allowing users to lend, borrow, and trade directly on the blockchain through transparent smart contracts, giving them full control over their funds.
b. Cloud Storage: Google Drive vs. Filecoin
Google Drive is a centralized service where users store files on Google’s servers. Google controls access and may use user data for advertising. In contrast, Filecoin is a decentralized storage network that allows users to rent or pay for storage. It encrypts data across multiple nodes, ensuring users retain complete control over their files.
2. Hackathon Projects: Orbiter has launched an omnichain called Vizing this year, and we welcome projects that require multichain and cross-chain capabilities to build on our platform. For projects that are developed on Vizing, we have a million-dollar grant support program available. 📋 Important InformationEach participant will have 10 minutes to present their project proposal.
Judges will have a 5-minute Q&A session for each project.
Judges will evaluate projects based on creativity, feasibility, and potential impact.
🏆 AwardsWithin three business days after the event, we will announce the evaluation results on the official Orbiter Finance X account.
Grand Prize (1): 3,000 USDT equivalent in OBT & specialized support from Orbiter (Note: This prize is contingent on project quality)
First Prize (1): 2,000 USDT each
Second Prize (2): 1,000 USDT each
Third Prize (3): 500 USDT each
Participation Prize (n): 100 USDT each
