Parent Survey Returning To School 17 Nov 2021
Tēnā koutou e te whānau of akonga at Rhode Street Kura.

We are delighted to be able to welcome more tamariki back onsite under Alert Level 3 from next Wednesday 17 November here at Rhode Street School.

We know learning kanohi ki te kanohi is the best option for our tamariki. It’s important for them to connect with their friends and teachers and it helps their social, physical and emotional wellbeing.

And so we look forward to starting to bring tamariki back on site.

If your child is already attending full-time they will continue to.

For other children returning, we need to manage the number of students attending each day to keep everyone safe.

Even with the Delta variant, the risk of COVID-19 transmission in schools is low because of all the public health measures we will have in place.

We need your support in helping us plan the return of tamariki to kura next week. Please complete this survey by Monday morning the 15th of November.

We will need to limit the number of tamariki and staff onsite each day

We will keep those tamariki onsite in separate groups

We will ensure our classrooms are well ventilated

We will continue to practice physical distancing where possible.

In addition to this, all staff and children in Years 4 and above are required to wear face coverings indoors (unless they have a medical exemption).

We can also ensure you that all of our staff (and any external contractors) who are on-site are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
