We’re so pleased that you want to join the Common Soil farm community!

By taking up community membership you’re supporting the farm and also supporting a movement of people committed to local, chemical-free food production to protect the environment, biodiversity and people’s connection to the land, to food growing and each other.

All members can join us for events, celebrations, workshops and farm tours, dates of which will be communicated throughout the year. We also hold regular volunteer sessions and work days if you want to come and get more involved. You can also arrange to come and visit on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday.

Common Soil is a Community Benefit Society, which is a form of co-operative structure. As a member you will have a share in the Community Benefit Society and a say over how it's run (if you want to) on a one member one vote basis. Shares have a nominal value of £1, that will be covered by your first membership payment.

The monthly membership fee of £3 per month is to be paid by standing order.

Please set up a standing order as follows:
- Log into your online banking
- Select the option to 'set up a standing order', or similar
- Set it up to reoccur monthly from the date that you wish to start membership
- In terms of ending it we suggest the option of 'until I cancel it' but obviously it's up to you if you want to choose a different option and review it at periodic points.
