Pensacola Opera Chorus Auditions 2022-23
Please complete the following form to audition for the Pensacola Opera chorus for our 40th season. These auditions are for both NEW AND RETURNING chorus members. For your audition, be prepared to sing one art song, aria, or musical theatre song in any language (no more than five minutes in length). A pianist will be provided. Please bring clear, legible sheet music inside a three-ring binder, or an accompaniment track on a phone/CD/laptop.

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, August 31 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the Pensacola Opera Center, 75 S. Tarragona St. For more information about the Opera Chorus and about the 2022-23 season productions, please visit www.pensacolaopera.com/opera-chorus.

PLEASE NOTE: These auditions are only for the Forty Forward concert in November and La bohème in January. A separate audition date will be held for the Carousel ensemble, for which the stage director will be present (likely held the last weekend in January).

Rehearsal Schedules
See the following links for tentative rehearsal schedules for Forty Forward and La bohème. Music rehearsals are typically held on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Staging rehearsals are usually held on weekends, as well as Tuesday and Friday evenings. Rehearsals during tech week will be Sunday through Wednesday evenings.
