Join Team Equine Legacy

Thank you for your interest in joining the Equine Legacy team! We believe that our mission - to bring attention to endangered and rare horse breeds - is an important one. The fact that you are here, probably means you think this is important too! :)

We have been dedicating much of our time to the Equine Legacy mission. But it is a big project, one that is not able to be done with just the three of us. So, we could really use all the help from all over the world!

Our project is currently not receiving any funding, meaning that we pay for everything out of our own pockets. We do what we do because we feel passionate about the project, but this is why our preference at the moment goes towards people who are willing to give a couple of hours of their expertise for free (with exception for book editor). A couple hours of your time and knowledge can make a huge difference in our project and help us spread our mission further. If this is not for you, we understand and you can still support us by being active on our social media and sharing the Equine Legacy project with others.

Below the questions, you can read in detail about each of the positions. All positions are remote. We have given an estimate for how much time we think a position will take, but this is very flexible. What you can help us with, we are grateful for.

SEO SPECIALIST/ BLOG WRITER

Position

We are looking for someone who can help write blogs on each of our horse breeds and improve the online visibility and therefore improve organic website traffic.

Improve search engine rankings, keyword research and the correct implementation of them.

Hours: +/- We would like to post a blogpost once every two weeks or so.

TIKTOK CONTENT CREATOR

Position

We are looking for someone who can manage our TikTok account: Creating TikTok & Reels, and help optimise our performance and visibility through a strategic scheduling. 

Hours: +/- We would like to post at least two times a week.


MARKETING EXPERT

Position

We are looking for someone who can help with our kickstarter launch at the end of May. Give advice and help build a strategic successful launch campaign.

Hours: +/- 2 per week. Hours differ between phases. For example, when our pre-sale and kickstarter starts, more time is needed.


BOOK EDITOR

Position

We are looking for someone who can check the written text of the book and can ensure the quality and coherence. Advanced degree in english needed or be a native speaker, preferably with an expertise in grammar and storytelling.

Hours: +/- 50

The book has eight chapters of four A3 pages of written text. Each chapter will need to looked over two to three times.

While this position is primarily voluntary, we recognise that exceptional experience and expertise deserve compensation. We are open to discussing potential payment options.
