Speaker: B.G.Shivakumar is the founder of tamu tamu, a vegan meal delivery business based in Chennai and alumnus of PGP 2002 batch, IIMB. He has been vegan and an animal rights activist for over 12 years. He founded and ran a vegan group at Barclays in London while he was employed there and more recently founded the IIT Madras alumni vegans group which spreads awareness about veganism in the alumni community.He believes the market for vegan products is all set to take off in a big way in India in the next 2-3 years as awareness about the animal rights movement spreads as also the health and environmental benefits of a plant based diet.
