We invite you to apply to the Centers for Educational Equity and Excellence's (CE3) Transfer Transition Program (TTP), a program for incoming EOP transfer students that facilitates successful transition to UC Berkeley.
The TTP program runs
July 7 – August 15, 2025, during Session D, the second 6-week UC Berkeley summer session. TTP students take two courses: a 4-unit upper division course (see details below) and a 2-unit transition course, Ethnic Studies 194, which meets
M/W 10:10 AM - 12 N. Ethnic Studies 194 provides students with a range of academic strategies central to success at UC Berkeley, as well as information about the structure and function of the university, allowing students to better understand and navigate Berkeley's academic landscape. Students will develop an understanding of and facility with discipline-specific conventions, language, and approaches, hone their academic writing strategies, and deepen their confidence as scholars and researchers. Students will also get to know fellow transfer students and develop academic collaborations and friendships. In addition to coursework, students will receive dedicated academic counseling to facilitate success at UC Berkeley.
TTP will be offered in person.
By enrolling in 6-units for the summer, eligible students receive Financial Aid to help pay for TTP.
*Please note: Only Fall, 2025 admits are eligible to receive Financial Aid support for the summer.*Spring, 2026 admits are not eligible for TTP.

IMPORTANT
To enroll in TTP, please follow the following steps:
1. After you pay your deposit for UC Berkeley, log into Cal Central and opt into Transfer Edge, via the Notification tab.
2. Click on the Transfer Edge button.
3. Wait 24 hours and then log into Cal Central again. You will see a summer tab on your Cal Central page, and then you may select your 2 TTP courses (Ethnic Studies 194 & a 4-unit course of your choice). The Course Number for Ethnic Studies 194 is #12812.
