Admissions are now open for our High School Medical Academy Program, designed to empower and support talented and motivated immigrant students who aspire to excel in STEM and health sciences!
Our program curriculum is designed to provide students with valuable hands-on experiences, enhance their resumes, and prepare them for future academic and career opportunities in the fields of technology and health sciences. Over the course of ten weeks, students will engage in a dynamic and comprehensive virtual learning experience, culminating in the creation of a final research project presentation. Additionally, students will receive payments of $15 per hour for 10 hours per week, for the duration of the 10-week program.
Students Ages: Typically, participants in the program will be around 15-17 years old, corresponding to the 10th-11th grade.
Eligibility Criteria: The program is open to immigrant students from diverse backgrounds who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Currently enrolled in 10th or 11th grade in a local high school.
- Immigrant student who is a resident of the City of Boston.
- Demonstrated interest in science, technology, and health sciences.
- A desire to pursue higher education and/or careers in STEM and health sciences fields.
Our program is open to students from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who may face unique challenges.
