Due to an abundance of caution around the COVID-19 virus, The University of Tennessee is requiring all large-scale events to be cancelled. This includes our Appalachian Spring Fundraiser scheduled for March 27th, 2020.  During times such as these we, as Volunteers, are all called on to be innovative and flexible. We are excited to continue to honor Jack Daniel’s through our online platforms as this year’s Innovator of the Industry for their economic growth impact to the state of Tennessee through retail, hospitality and tourism and will be highlighting their Lynchburg, TN home place.  We are also working to take our incredible silent auction online! Stay tuned for more information on how you can be a part of this adapted event.  Jack Daniels has graciously pledged their support to our Retail, Hospitality, and Tourism Management (RHTM) department during this unprecedented time. We are so very grateful.

We are asking ticket and table purchasers to consider converting their investment into a donation to the RHTM Department.  Each year, this event raises crucial support for student scholarships and experiential learning opportunities for the following fiscal year.  If you choose to convert your ticket into a gift for our students, it will be processed through our UT Advancement office and the amount becomes tax deductible.  However, we also understand if you prefer a refund and will accommodate those requests as well.
