EMU Theatre Scholarship Audition Form
Eastern Michigan University Theatre has several scholarships available for incoming freshmen and transfer students for the 2021-22 academic year. Scholarship auditions will be accepted via video submissions, through April 20, 2021. Performers, stage managers and technical theatre students are encouraged to submit.

--Acting Audition Requirements: Two contrasting monologues, not to exceed 90 seconds each. Optional but strongly encouraged - Singing 16 bars/measures from a musical theatre selection.

--Tech/Stage Management Requirements: Video submission that demonstrates auditionee's skills in the tech/design/publicity/sm areas. Example - Tell us about your skills, display renderings, set models, costumes, images from shows, video clips that showcase your work.

--A short letter of reference from a theatre director, tech director, acting/singing coach, etc. should be included with submission.

--Video submission should not exceed 3-4 minutes.

--All scholarship submissions should be emailed to Pam Cardell at emu_theatre@emich.edu by April 20, 2021.
