Російська Федерація незаконно утримує понад 7000 цивільних на окупованих територіях та на території РФ. Від початку повномасштабної війни Росії проти України лише 160 цивільних звільнили під час обмінів полоненими (дані станом на 4 січня 2024 року). Темпи звільнення є вкрай повільними й свідчать про необхідність втілення системної стратегії, спрямованої на звільнення всіх цивільних, незаконно утримуваних РФ, без обмінів або умов. Спікер — Михайло Савва, доктор політичних наук, член експертної ради Центру громадянських свобод.

Мова заходу — українська. Організатори забезпечують синхронний переклад заходу англійською мовою та онлайн-трансляцію українською та англійською.

The Russian Federation is illegally holding more than 7,000 civilians in the occupied territories and in the Russian Federation. By 4 January 2024, only 147 civilians have been released in prisoner exchanges. The pace of release is extremely slow and highlights the need for a systematic strategy to release all civilians illegally held by the Russian Federation without exchanges or conditions. Speaker — Mykhailo Savva, member of the expert council Center for Civil Liberties.

Working language: Ukrainian. Simultaneous translation into English and online broadcasting will be provided at the event.
