The Partners in Education Committee (PIE) serves as a bridge between the business and educational communities. This committee is guided on the principles of enhancing academic achievement, developing college readiness, encouraging workforce preparedness and cultivating leadership, citizenship and responsibility. Through business participation and commitment, we help the Arlington ISD achieve the goal that 100% of students will graduate exceptionally prepared for college, career and citizenship.
People are the most valuable resource for businesses. Creating a talent pipeline allows companies to succeed, expand and compete in our ever-evolving business world. To remain innovative and competitive, businesses need to reach local talent early.
Through the Partners in Education program (PIE), businesses can shape the future of their company by building a sustainable talent pipeline. By engaging with PIE, businesses also earn social capital with their employees, clients and customers as a reputable business invested in our community’s future.
