Biogenic CO2/Carbon Certification: Towards a Circular Economy

Join us for a one-day workshop in Brussels on June 26th, organised by a consortium of European organisations including the European Renewable Gas Registry (ERGaR), Eurogas, European Biogas Association (EBA), Biomethane Industrial Partnership (BIP), CO2 Value Europe, European Industrial Gases Association (EIGa), Energy Traders Europe, ePure, CertifHy, Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE), Hydrogen Europe, Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA) and Gas Distributors for Sustainability (GD4S) to discuss the certification of biogenic CO2. As the EU moves towards climate neutrality by 2050, biogenic CO2 from biomass plays a crucial role. This workshop will explore certification frameworks to trace its origin and incentivise its capture.
