City of Hayward Induction Cooktop Loaner Program
Induction Cooktops use electromagnetism to heat pots and pans directly, resulting in faster heating, less exposure to hot surfaces, more temperature control than gas cooktops, and no impact on indoor air quality.

The City of Hayward in partnership with East Bay Community Energy is excited to give Hayward residents the chance to see just how simple and precise induction cooking is for themselves! Resident are invited to borrow a cooktop and cookware by filling out the reservation form below.
 
Cooktops and cookware can be reserved for up to two weeks and can be picked up on the 2nd Floor of City Hall at 777 B St. Hayward, California 94545.

Would You Like To Borrow an Induction-Ready Pan? *
Induction cooking uses magnetic fields to heat foods. Only magnetic pans are compatible with Induction cooktops. To check and see if your pans will work, hold any magnet to the bottom of your pan or pot. If the magnet sticks, your pan is safe to use on an induction cooktop.
