Financial Aid Workshops (Fall 2020): Northside College Prep
Hello Senior Students and Parents,

As of October 1st, all federal, state, and institutional financial aid portals are open to students and parents. To support the class of 2021 students and parents with completing and submitting their respective financial aid documents, the Northside Prep Counseling Department is offering financial aid workshops and presentations. The workshops and presentations will provide students and parents an opportunity to receive support with completing the FAFSA, RISE Application for undocumented and transgender students, and the College Scholarship Service Profile (CSS Profile). Please note, the workshops are only recommended for the class of 2021 students and parents only.

Upcoming Financial Aid Workshops:
-My FAFSA is complete, now what? November 11th (8:50am-9:35am)
-My FAFSA is complete, now what? November 11th (2:15pm-3pm)


My FAFSA is complete, now what? November 5th (2:15pm-3pm)
-This presentation will address what happens after your FAFSA is completed, which will include topics such as reviewing your SAR (Student Aid Report), navigating the verification process, and federal aid disbursement.

To register for the upcoming financial aid workshops complete the form below.

Participants should bring the following information:
-FSA or College Board login credentials;
-Students drivers license number, if applicable;
-2019 (FAFSA/RISE) and 2020 (CSS Profile) federal income taxes and asset documentation;
- W-2 forms and other records of money earned from 2019 (FAFSA/RISE) and 2020 (CSS Profile);                                                                                                                          
 -Records of untaxed income and benefits;
-Records of savings, stocks, bonds, trusts, 529 plans, and other investments;
-Current bank statements and mortgage information (if applicable, for the CSS Profile only);
-The student's noncustodial parent's e-mail address (if applicable, for the CSS Profile only);

Lastly, during the month of December, ISAC will host a Financial Aid Follow-up Presentation to address what happens after the financial aid applications are completed. Some of the topics will include reviewing the Student Aid Report (SAR), completing the federal income verification process, and using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.
