Dear BMSS Families,

Florida State Assessments (FSA) are coming up shortly. Due to state decree these tests cannot be administered virtual, I am writing to invite your child/children to campus to take the Mock FSA testing. Mock FSA testing is a diagnostic test that is conducted in our school to allow students experience how the real FSA feels like while gathering the most recent data that shows their academic levels which will be used when we start reviews.
 
FSA are state tests administered to all students across the state of Florida. These test ensure that students are learning appropriately and meeting the grade level standards. They are also a way to ensure educational gains. Thus, it is very important that we make sure our students practice and feel comfortable prior to taking the actual exam, in order to minimize test jitters and get a more adequate result.

The real FSA testing schedule will be shared later in the beginning of March. Below are the dates each grade level is expected to come in for mock FSAs;
3rd grade------> March 1-4
4th grade------> March 1-5
5th grade------> March 3-5, 8,9
6th grade------> March 3-5, 8,9
7th grade------> March 15-19
8th grade------> March 15-19

The times and room numbers will be shared after survey is finalized.
Please respond by February 19, if you will be sending your child to school for mock FSA or/and for real FSA testing.
