Within DD - Distributed Design, EU project fostering the role of emerging creatives as part of a new digitized world, OpenDot organizes the "Design and 3D Technologies for Health&Care Summer School": 4 free-of-charge engaging online courses which will be held in English on Google Meet, on June 16th, 19th, 23rd and 26th (from 9.30am to 1pm).
The OpenDot Summer School focuses on how design processes and digital fabrication technologies can innovate the healthcare sector by producing effective solutions for real needs.
4 mornings, for 4 short courses focusing on 4 design processes: Parametric Design, Modelling for surgery, Custom orthotics and Training kit for the medical staff.
Participants can choose to attend the complete Summer School program or sign up for a specific course, according to personal interests or background, and availability.
Ahead of the course, participants will get access to instructions and materials necessary to attend the lesson, to help them prepare better.
