Welcome back to another year of fun, excitement and IN PERSON Guiding! West Coast Area Council is organizing a fabulous event for all members. In order to make this special event happen, Pathfinder/Ranger/Adult volunteers are requested to join us on this day. Please read the descriptions and indicate which roles interest you. Location: Woodward's Landing - 11551 Dyke Rd, Richmond, BC V7A 4X8
Event Time: 9:30am to 5:30pm

We will gladly sign off on volunteer hours for any students or others that require credit for an academic/professional program. (Please bring your volunteer form to the event or email programwca@gmail.com AFTER the event with clear information about what you will need as proof of your volunteer time.)

Available roles are as follows:
ACTIVITY LEADERS:
We will be running several fun activities, all focusing on various aspect of Guiding ie: camping, program, international, etc... Volunteers are needed to run these pre-planned activities. All supplies and instructions will be provided - we just need helping hands.

FIRST AIDER:
Can you remain cool and collected in a first aid situation? Do you have first aid training and/or professional medical expertise? One lead first aider is needed to oversee the event's first aid requirements and be available as a resource in case of emergencies. The first aiders are also asked to bring (their own or borrow) a first aid kit.

PHOTOGRAPHER:
Contribute your photo savvy and capture great pictures of this event! The photographer(s) are asked to bring their own camera(s).

PARKING ATTENDANTS:
Parking Attendants assist members and/or parents by directing vehicles to the parking area. There will be no parking or drop off/pickup for attendees or parents in the driveway of Woodward's Landing.

REGISTRATION:
Are you organized and friendly? We are looking for members to run our registration desk at check in. You will collect names of people attending, hand out no-photos wristbands, and name tags.

MC:
Are you comfortable in front of a crowd? We're looking for an energetic volunteer to be our MC for the day! There will be stage performers throughout the sessions; we will also need help keeping an eye on the stage setup when the performers are not there.
