Code for Africa (CfA) is pleased to invite you to apply for an Outbreak fellowship.

CfA is the continent’s largest network of data journalism and digital democracy laboratories, with staff in 18 African countries. CfA builds digital solutions that provide actionable information to citizens to encourage informed decisions, while also amplifying voices to strengthen civic engagement for improved public governance and evidence-driven accountability.

The fellowships are part of Code for Africa’s Outbreak initiative that seeks to improve data-driven decision making by providing a set of interactive tools and data journalism that provides actionable insights into epidemiological factors, healthcare system factors, demographic vulnerability and access to WASH and basic services.

Successful applicants will receive funding to work on advanced issues related to  COVID-19 vaccination and roll out across Africa, whilst leveraging specific data and technologies tools with support and mentorship from Code for Africa’s team across the continent.
