CoMMaND Lab Undergraduate Research
Thank you for your interest in the CoMMaND lab!  We periodically have openings for new undergraduates to do research in our lab.  Because our research is interdisciplinary, we are open to students with mechanical engineering, physics, neuroscience, biology, computer science, and other backgrounds.

Past undergraduate projects have included segmentation of MRIs, writing code to analyze cortical thickness patterns, and running simulations of experimental tests.

The questions below will give us an idea of how you might fit into the lab. NONE OF THE SKILLS OR PAST EXPERIENCE MENTIONED ARE REQUIRED, so please be honest.  Also, note that for local Notre Dame students, we do have a strong preference for students who can commit to at least one year with us, including at least 10 hours/week during the school year.

Feel free to reach out to Dr. Holland (maria-holland@nd.edu) if you have questions or concerns.
