Criteria for participants
You must receive acceptance of your registration before starting to raise funds.
We prefer you to fundraise using our events page on Virgin Money Giving.

Sleepers must be aged 18 or above OR
14 or over if attending with a parent/guardian or a suitably qualified adult with the parent / guardian’s written consent.

This event will be all night, outside, in winter and is not appropriate for young children.
Participants are responsible for their own weather protection and comfort. It will be necessary to bring suitable clothing and sleeping bags. Cardboard boxes and plastic sheeting may help with insulation. [No tents please].

All participants must pre-register using this form or the paper form available for download from our website. Where appropriate, include parental permission.

Practicalities

Participants are expected to respect others sleeping out and the residents of the area.
You are asked to avoid bringing alcohol, radios or any other items that may disturb the peace of others. Please—no naked flames and therefore, no smoking.

Refreshments:

Hot drinks and soup will be available.
Toilet facilities will be available throughout the night and first aiders (hopefully St John Ambulance) will be present.
Street Parking only please - please share transport where possible and follow instructions on arrival.
Everything you bring with you — cardboard boxes etc — must be taken away in the morning.
