Tech Team Application Form: Into The Woods Jr.

Thank you for your interest in joining our Tech Team at Eastside Theater. Youth 12 and older may apply to join our tech team for this production. There are various roles available. Please be sure to let us know which role(s) you wish to be considered for, or any that you do not wish to be considered for.

Once we receive applications, our production team will set up interviews and then make decisions on positions. We encourage everyone to submit an application as soon as possible, because some positions will start sooner than others, and we may start setting up interviews before the applications for tech positions closes.

Rehearsal Schedule
You may not be called for every rehearsal in your commitment time frame.

Before May 22:

- Wednesday and Friday from 6:00-8:00pm
- Sunday from 4:00-6:00pm

May 22 - 25:  6:00-8:00pm

May 26 - June 2: 5:30-9:00m


June 3 -12: Performances

- Call time will probably be 2 hours before performance (may vary on crew role)

Tuition
Tuition for Tech if $50 for this production. We never turn away students based on ability to pay, so please do not let that stop you from applying. All Cast and Tech receive a show t-shirt, and participate in our cast party at the conclusion of this production. We appreciate your interest. Position Interest
This is a list of tech positions for our current production. Please use the check box before each position that you would like to be considered for. If it is a position you are not interested in pursuing, do not check the box! Once we receive applications, our production team will set up interviews and then make decisions on positions. Lighting Shadow- A student interested in learning how to run lights. Will work with light board op to learn the board and light cues Commitment: May 26th - June 12
Sound Shadow- A student interested in learning how to run sound. Will work with light board op to learn the board and sound cues Commitment: May 26th - June 12
Costume assistant- A student interested in learning about the costuming process. Including finding costumes for actors, learning about measurements, learning basic sewing, help keep track of costumes during performance Commitment: As soon as possible - June 12
StageHand - A student who will help move sets and props during a performance or tech rehearsal Commitment: May 23th - June 12
Runner - A student who will follow along with the show and let actors in the green room know what's going on. Commitment: May 26th - June 12
Assistant stage manager - A student who will report to the Stage Manager, will take notes during rehearsal, and assist backstage during a production. Make sure props/ sets are were they need to before and after performance: Commitment: May 1st (May 8th by the latest) - June 12th
