If you like dancing and being part of a TEAM, come check out the Liberty Belles tryouts!! Anyone going into 9th-12th grade is eligible.
OUR PURPOSE AND MISSION:
· The purpose of the LHS Liberty Belles Varsity Dance Team is to promote school spirit, provide half-time entertainment at athletic events, and to represent the school and community as a dance team.
· The mission is to provide dancers with a successful and meaningful educational experience. Team members have personal goals of high academic achievement, increasing their dance ability, learning effective time management, and forming strong friendships. The success of this team is by having a strong commitment from the dancers, parental involvement, and full participation. The dancers exhibit good sportsmanship, positive attitudes toward team members, competitors, school and parents.
Please read and fill out information by Monday, March 23, 2021. Coach Kuecker will have an informational meeting the first day of practice to go over everything and answer any question you might have! You will also be given a PARENT PERMISSION FORM THE FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE. Please send out a total of 3 recommendation forms to teachers or coaches of your choice.
https://forms.gle/3JhkAxQVNScrQMon8Try out practices will be held in the morning at the High School Wednesday, March 24, Thursday, March 25, and Friday, March 26, from 6:00 am to 7:10 am. You need to be there everyday and ON TIME! Do NOT be late.
Tryouts will be the night of Monday, March 29, 2021 from 6:30-??? pm at the HS in front of a panel of judges. This session is closed to the public.
****Mandatory New Team and Parent Meeting Wednesday, March 25th at 6:00 PM in High School Cafeteria.

FINANCES – LIBERTY BELLES DANCE PROGRAM FINANCES (APPROXIMATE)
Fundraisers performed by the drill team members support the costs of being a member. If you make your quota for each fundraiser drill team will cost you NO money. Each member will be required to do fundraisers as they are a team effort.

Dance uniforms are provided by the Athletic Department on a 6 year schedule. You will check out a school uniform for sidelines. You will be provided a duffle bag to check out from the school as well.

State competition outfits, shoes, poms, and camp clothes are all at the expense of the dancer.
•
Also camp costs and clinics are the responsibility of the dancer.
EXPECTED EXPENSES
Camp: Approximately $300 depending on camp and $75 choreography camp.
Shoes: approximately $35 Jazz shoes Team Tennis shoes $80
Poms: $35
Summer Clothes: approximately $100
State Outfits: approximately $150-300 for two outfits. (Kick and hip hop)
Belles Jacket: $160 ordered through Varsity Spirit Wear
Sweatshirts: approximately $60
Miscellaneous team wear: There may be an additional costs depending if the squad wants to order anything else from Varsity Spirit Wear at our fitting.
You will be given a schedule of payments at the first parent meeting in May.
