SATURDAY
On Saturday we typically set up tables, clean up the expo area, set out supplies along the course and generally organize ourselves for the Sunday race.
SATURDAY (12/2) SETUP 10am to 2pm (need about 12 volunteers)
SUNDAY: RACE DAY, 12/3
On Sunday we show up around 6am to prepare for the event. Registration needs to be set up, public safety briefing, CERT folks and course volunteers will be shuttled to their location on the course. Food vendors, band and expo to be set up.
SUNDAY (12/3): Assign me anywhere you need me!!
SUNDAY: Water Stations (need 9). Requires setting up the tables up on the course as well as handing out the water. Volunteers and supplies are given a ride to the respective stations at the beginning and brought back to the basecamp at the end of the race.
SUNDAY: Course Volunteers (need 8). Volunteers would stand at key junctures to ensure runners do not go off course.
SUNDAY: Registration (need to start at 6am with 4 people). Selling day-of ticket sales, handing out registration packets, merchandise, raffle, checking IDs for beer, etc.
SUNDAY: Parking (need 2-4). Setting up cones, directing traffic etc.
