Learn the Japanese martial art of Kendo, strengthen your mind and body. Discover the teachings of the samurai. Join us now to begin your training!  Your first class is free (fees must be paid to continue and obtain your shinai - bamboo sword).

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Learn the basic movements involved with kendo including footwork, cuts and basic attacks.  This course is for new beginners with no prior experience.  Classes are held Monday nights for an 8 week period.  Once the introductory course is completed, students have the option of continuing with this program or graduating to the next level of training where they will learn more advanced techniques and eventually wear bogu (armour).
  
TIME  Mondays 6:00-7:00pm 
LOCATION Archwood Community Centre, 565 Guilbault 
FEES: $150.00 CAD/person (FREE shinai included for first time students).
Fees may be paid in cash, cheque or  e-transfer to: winnipegkendo@gmail.com
