Public Survey -                                     Integration of Urban Agriculture into Land Use Planning in Western Province
You are kindly invited to participate in this survey, if you are a resident or manage/administer organisations /place of worship in Western Province, Sri Lanka.

Aftereffects of COVID-19 pandemic and prevailing climatic issues tend to have substantial consequences on global food supply. In this context, we are investigating the way in which urban agriculture can be promoted within land use planning for Western Province.
For this, please share your current experiences and thoughts of cultivating vacant spaces available at your homes, schools, universities, offices, businesses, places of worship, unused bare lands etc.  
The study is undertaken by the Centre for Real Estate Studies (CRES), Department of Estate Management and Valuation, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura in collaboration with Urban Development Authority, Sri Lanka.

Other details:
1.The questionnaire will take only 05-10 minutes.
2.The questionnaire is open for responses  till 30.07.2020.
3.Please answer the questionnaire carefully as the information you provide will inform the land use planning policies of Western Province.
4.Your answers will remain strictly confidential. Results will be published at aggregate level, thus all respondents will remain anonymised.  
5.Due to COVID-19 outbreak, we collect responses only via this Google form. However, we shall take measures to reach you in other means (e.g. home visits with the help of relevant officials) once the prevailing situation of the country gets back to normal.
