Loveland Volunteer Induction Checklist Creation
This form is to collect ideas about what should be included in an Induction Checklist for Saturday morning volunteers (specifcally) up at the land. The form has 4 questions and could take 5-20 minutes depending on how much you write. There is room at the end for 'Anything else?'.

A voluteer induction should include anything that helps a volunteer feel welcome, helps them understand thier enviroment (physical and social), and helps them know what things need doing and how, and means they know who to ask/tell if they need help or have ideas, but also who they can contact/tell if something happens that makes them feel uncomfortable.

Feel free to write as much or as little as you like, and if you would prefer to chat though your ideas, please email me Jess, a Sat morning vounteer myself to arranage a time for a call jessmayrose@gmail.com.

1. Site orientation
What is needed to help volunteers understand and feel comfortable the Loveland enviroment?  This could include information that helps answer: where am I? where are things? what are the rules of the space? What else could it include?
What specific information would be useful to cover in Site Orientation?
2. Tasks
What tasks do Sat morning volunteers do? What tasks could they do? What information is needed to help them?
What specific tasks are there for saturday morning volunteers, and what information do they need?
3. Health and Saftey
What risks are there involved with volunteering on a saturday, either physical or emotional? How could they be mitigated?
What specific risks are you aware of that relate to sat morning volunteering, and how might they be mitigated?
4. Communcation and Relationships
The current idea for the Induction is a short checklist that a more experienced volunteer can run through with newbies. Does this sound like a good idea? What other ideas do you have? What else would you like to know about the people involved with Loveland.
How could the induction be communicated? What other infomation would be good that relates to communication and relationships?
Anything else? (all ideas welcome, no questions are stupid!)
