FOBS' main objective as a charity is to use its fundraising efforts and donations to benefit all of the children in the school, however we have also been asked on occasion to be able to help individual families at Binsted School with help to cover the cost of school trips and experiences.
Therefore, we have created the Fun For All Fund. This is a special, ring-fenced fund kept within the FOBS accounts which can be used to cover some or all of the costs of school trips as and when families need it. The request for money will be assessed by and come from the headteacher and senior teaching staff at Binsted School and the FOBS committee will vote to agree on the payment.
The money used in the Fun For All Fund will be raised by individual donors wanting to specifically give money to the fund, by the gift aid we receive from all eligible donations and by a top up scheme where supporters can choose to add an extra payment onto the ticket price of the FOBS event being organised. No money will be used from the general fundraising efforts of FOBS as this money is to be used to benefit all of the children at school.
