Meru University of Science and Technology (Kenya) in collaboration with Uppsala University (Sweden), Makerere University (Uganda), University of Lagos (Nigeria) and University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) will be hosting the inaugural Global Workshop on Alternative Building Materials & Technologies (G-MATE) on 24th and 25th October 2022, at Meru University of Science and Technology. The workshop will feature presentations and exhibitions drawing from national and international participants from academia, industry, and policymakers in the housing industry. More than 500 participants are expected to attend this event.

The theme for the workshop is: “Alternative Building materials for affordable & Low carbon housing in Sub-Saharan Africa.”
