Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Abramson Scholarship Foundation's Advisor Network. We created the Advisor Network in order to add critical resources to meet the evolving and increasing needs of our Scholars. We’re seeking to provide Scholars (and their mentors) with as much targeted support as possible, when they need it, especially since the college experience and the job prospects for college students today have become so challenging. Many of our Scholars are the first in their families to attend college and they appreciate the advice from engaged professionals who can support them in navigating this new terrain. 
                                                         
By volunteering your expertise as an Abramson Advisor, you will be providing specific advice to Scholars, as well as their mentors, on an as-needed basis. This could take the form of academic, career, financial, and mental health counseling. Our Abramson Scholars experience one of their greatest life transitions as they complete their college educations and enter the job market, and it takes a village of people with a variety of skill sets and connections to help them succeed.  

The amount of time Advisors will need to commit to the Advisor Network depends on your interest and capacity - you can serve as an Advisor one time for a specific event, or serve several times throughout the year, depending on the needs that arise from Scholars. The Mentoring Committee will work with you to make sure the experience is a productive and satisfying one for you. We’re looking forward to working with you!
