All the Time I Pray to Buddha, I Keep on Killing Mosquitoes - Session #1
Session #1 will spotlight the online collaboration between Makarim (Mac) and Gan in making the video essay CITIZEN. Mac is a British physicist turned tour guide, and a current resident of Tokyo. Both have only met online and not in-person due to the pandemic. The dialogue will also discuss the idea of global citizenship and the sense of being of and from a place.

The exhibition is organized by Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur (JFKL), with support from Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre (PJPAC), and will run from 19 to 23 Jan 2022 at PJPAC.
