Communities LEAP: Technical Assistance Input Survey
Communities LEAP is a partnership between the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL), the Department of Energy, The City of Highland Park & the Highland Park Community Crisis Coalition. This partnership and program works to advance energy justice within Highland Park by providing technical assistance for climate and energy related actions.

What is Technical Assistance? It is help from the Department of Energy and NREL to create plans, visions, and research for Highland Parkers. We will then leverage this work to find funding to produce buildable projects.

Important Note: You MUST be a resident of Highland Park in order for your responses to be considered. All personal details provided will be kept confidential and will not be shared.

By filling out the survey below, you will be helping us decide where we should focus a part of the technical assistance that the Dept. of Energy is giving to Highland Park. Areas of work we have identified so far:

  • City wide street lighting
  • Analysis of our local energy grid
  • Transportation & Mobility
