Family Education Rights and Privacy Act    2019-20 Opt-Out Form
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords parents and students over eighteen years of age ("eligible students") certain rights with respect to the student's education records. Please review Board Policy 216-AG-3 at www.dasd.org/FERPA regarding the sharing of student directory information. If you would like to opt-out your child, you must notify the school district by completing this form by October 31, 2019.
This form will need to be completed each school year. This form only applies to Downingtown Area School District and does not apply to other institutions or programs your child may attend (ex. TCHS). Please direct all questions to your child's school.
