LiberTEA Collective Application Cohort VIII
Please complete all sections to the best of your knowledge. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. Application Deadline is March 31, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. CT. After review, you will receive an email to submit additional information and confirm your interview. After the interview, a notice of acceptance will be sent by April 5, 2023. APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO APRIL 6, 2023.

A training fee is associated with the program. Please see question below regarding the fee scale of $300-$25. Scholarships are also available. Training fee is due April 12, 2023, along with confirmation of program acceptance. 

Attendance Policy: Participants are REQUIRED to attend all sessions, barring any emergencies or illness and must sign a participation commitment agreement. If you cannot commit to the following dates, please consider participating in a future cohort:

Friday and Saturday:  April 14-15, 2023 (In-person/overnight in Nashville- lodging provided if you live outside of the city)

Friday and Saturday: May 5-6, 2023 (In person/overnight in Nashville-lodging provided if you live outside of the city)
Session 4: Can’t Create Change From the Sideline: Running for Office/Working with a Campaign
Session 5: This Ain’t A Spectators Sport: Movement Building and Disruption/Direct Action/Organizing
Friday: 6pm-9pm CT
Saturday: 8am-4pm CT

The purpose of this application and training is to empower Black Tennesseans regardless of their knowledge or experience with the content. Admission into the LiberTEA Collective is not based on income, background, age, sexual orientation, religion, or access to technology.
