Program Overview: Encourage more women to get involved in AI safety research and to create a more welcoming environment by providing primarily remote mentorship, helping to fill knowledge/skill gaps, providing collaborative opportunities, and creating a supportive environment to foster their growth and engagement in the field.

Mentorship Role:
  • Engage in 1:1 discussions with your mentee, ideally once every 1 or 2 weeks during the program to provide insights, guidance, and feedback on their research direction and findings, questions
  • Assist mentees in refining their research questions, methodology, and outcomes
  • Facilitate introductions or connections within the AI safety community, if deemed beneficial for the mentee’s research progress/collaboration
  • Join us for some portion of the in-person retreat to interact with the mentees (optional)
